Cromwell College offers quality academic and practical courses with great results. We pride ourselves on our dedicated staff, friendly students and excellent facilities. At the same time we are small enough so you can be in the team, band or performance. Our seniors classes are smaller where you will make real relationships. We accept no more than 12 international students into our select programme.

About Cromwell
Cromwell is a vibrant, growing town of 8,000 people with facilities better than most larger towns. It is in Central Otago, one of the most visited parts of New Zealand, on the shores of Lake Dunstan with great mountains and good sunshine so you can be active.
Queenstown is nearby with its city facilities and international airport. Cromwell is a great base for exploring New Zealand.

Outdoor Education
We pride ourselves on providing dynamic outdoor programmes set in the beautiful environments of inland Otago.
Students experience a wide range of outdoor activities and leadership opportunities with a focus on developing their personal and social skills. Every Wednesday students are active with their classmates enjoying activities such as sailing, kayaking, mountain biking, tramping or skiing.
The Outdoor Education courses are designed as a progression from foundation skills at Level One, to more advanced physical demands at Level Three.

The Outdoor Education Programme fee covers expenses related to the specialised programmes that take place every Thursday. Activities include kayaking, climbing, mountain biking and tramping in Terms 1, 2 and 4. Term 3 is Snowsports The fees cover equipment hire, instruction, transport, and lift pass. We recommend students bring ‘worn in’ footwear if possible.
Contingency Fund
A contingency fund of a maximum NZD$600 or one term NZD$300 is charged. This is a sum of money which we hold for you to cover expenses during your stay, any unused funds will be returned to the student when the stay is over.
