Bayfield High School enjoys a picturesque location on the Otago Peninsula beside the harbour, with extensive grounds and modern learning spaces – ideal for both outdoor pursuits and focused study.  Our aspirations for the development of our students go well beyond the classroom and we provide a wide range of extracurricular activities for them to participate in.

 Our international programme is long standing and brings a number of students into our community from across the world. Whilst being supported by a dedicated team, our international students play an active part in our community and are represented in all areas of school life. Students are encouraged to get involved from the time they arrive in Dunedin.
