About Us
Introducing St Kevin’s College
St Kevin’s College is a high achieving coeducational secondary school, in the Catholic tradition. We were established in 1927 and currently educate 490 students from Year 9 to Year 13, offering a full range of academic subjects, sports and cultural opportunities. We have 410 day students and 80 hostel students.
We are located in the picturesque, historic seaside town of Oamaru. Our campus is set on 26 hectares with outstanding onsite facilities including an equestrian arena, swimming pool and expansive sports grounds. We have excellent modern classrooms set in a park-like environment. Our specialist teachers and a dedicated International Department help international students to thrive in their study.
Oamaru is the gateway to the stunningly beautiful Southern Alps. Crystal blue rivers and Waitaki Lakes, making it an ideal location for our outdoor programmes. During the year students have the opportunity to cycle local bike trails, tramp in the Aoraki-Mt Cook region, ski at our local fields and kayak at our lake camp.
