Te Kamo High School

About Us
Te Kamo High School has a quality programme for International Students and has many years of experience in hosting students from a wide range of destinations. Class sizes are kept low and there are many opportunities for academic, sporting, cultural, leadership and citizenship success.
The current student roll is 1,000 with around 2%, or 20 international students from about 10 different countries.
Te Kamo High School places a huge emphasis on quality pastoral care. This may include a meet and greet service for new International Students, orientation, Kiwi buddies, insurance claim assistance, visa applications/renewals, international meetings and homestay support.
Location:
Te Kamo High School is located in Whangarei, a small city in the north of New Zealand. Whangarei has a diverse but uniquely New Zealand population with a small number of residents from overseas. Situated in a tranquil harbour, we have access to many beautiful beaches, native bush and world-renowned diving and fishing, all within 20-30 minute’s driving distance.
