A friendly caring environment welcomes international students. The College motto “Essayez”, i.e. try your best, encourages students to participate. The Outdoor Education programme works on a “challenge by choice” policy.

Students can participate in a wide range of sporting and cultural activities through the College and in local community groups. Eg Aquatic Centre, artificial hockey turf, and golf course. Canoe polo is one of the College’s strengths.
