About The School
Motueka High School is located in the small rural town of Motueka near Nelson, at the top of the South Island. The area is characterised by spectacular coastline and beautiful native forests and has become a popular holiday destination. The school benefits from the area’s easy access to three of the country’s most beautiful national parks (Abel Tasman, Nelson Lakes and Kahurangi). With its sunny climate, Motueka offers outdoor enthusiasts a wide range of adventure opportunities.
Motueka High School is a co-educational college of around 630 students. The school has a wide range of courses to offer and a record of excellence in academic, sporting and cultural endeavours. Many of its students have attained New Zealand honours.
Fees & Accommodation
Motueka High School arranges homestay accommodation with local families. A high standard of personal behaviour is expected.
