Cromwell CollegeAbout The School Cromwell College is a modern and spacious school set in the town of Cromwell, a small town located on the shores of Lake Dunstan in the South Island of New Zealand. Cromwell is an important centre for tourism, horticulture and viticulture. It is close to Wanaka and Queenstown, two of the most popular adventure tourism destinations in New Zealand. Cromwell College has excellent facilities. It has attractive grounds, a gymnasium, an auditorium and an up-to-date computer network. An aquatic centre on the shores of Lake Dunstan is maintained by the school and is home to a fleet of yachts, kayaks and other watercraft. The college also makes use of the town’s excellent facilities, including an indoor swimming pool, artificial hockey turf and championship golf course. Fees & Accomodation International students at Cromwell College have the option of living in a homestay arrangement with a local family. Alternatively, they can live in our specialist student hostel, the Cromwell College Apartments. Students who live at the Cromwell College Apartments take part in the highly successful Independent Living Programme, an excellent preparation for life beyond secondary school. With the help of on-site adult supervisors, students are guided in all aspects of flatting including cooking, budgeting, menu preparation and co-operation. Each flat in the complex has a mixture of single and double bedrooms, lounge, bathroom and fully equipped kitchen.
International student tuition fee for 2009: NZ$11500 per year Homestay fee: NZ$200 per week The Apartments fee covers accommodation at the Cromwell College Apartments, food and all associated Apartments costs. There are additional costs of medical and travel insurance, transport and holidays. The College can provide details for students who wish to study for less than a full year.
